CREATING A CROSS-ARTS CURRICULUM
Music
Years F to 2
This lesson focuses on making musical instruments from everyday objects.
In this lesson, students will learn that music can be created using a wide variety of materials, as long as they are able to produce a beat, pitch or volume.

Visual Art
Years 5 & 6
This lesson focuses on the pollution and waste that is produced through manufacturing of clothing and textiles, and about reproducing items of clothing using recycled materials and how this can help create a sustainable future.
Production of textiles produces an exceeding amount of waste. A classic example is the textile facturies in China which are now dumping a large amount of waste into nearby rivers which are consequently polluting and affecting local people.

Based on the television show, The Biggest Loser, this game will require students to 'compete' with the best dramatic performance regarding different sustainable topics: Plastic Waste, Our Carbon Footprint, and Energy Consumption.
